Val Byrne Watercolor Prints

Val Byrne, the Chieftain of the Byrne and O'Byrne Clan, is a world-renown artist. Val, born in Dublin in 1936, received his Bachelor of Architecture at University College Dublin. He has painted all his life, and won a national art competition in Ireland while he was still in his teens. Although he had a successful architecture business in Ireland for years, in the late 1980s he retired and established his art gallery in Bray, County Wicklow. His art largely consists of watercolor paintings of the Irish countryside and urban scenes and buildings, due to his interest and experience in architecture. Val's art is held in private and corporate collections throughout the world, including Mary McAleese (President of Ireland), Mary Robinson (Former President and UN Commissioner for Human Rights), Jean Kennedy Smith (former US Ambassador to Ireland) and the Crown Prince of Oman. Celt-Iberia's works include limited edition, signed and numbered prints of Val's famous watercolor paintings.
